About Ms. Seibert
Ms. Seibert enjoys helping families and classroom teachers understand how to support our English Language Learners (ELLs) in acquiring social and academic language. She has lived in Belgium, France, Finland, and Canada and visited many countries in Europe and Northern Europe as well as living in several states in the US. She learned French in elementary school and Spanish in high school, and her love of languages inspired her to teach children to speak English.
She earned a Master of Arts in Teaching at UNC-Chapel Hill, and a certificate in AIG (Academically and Intellectually Gifted) from UNC-Charlotte, and has been teaching ESL in Wake County schools for nine years. Ms. Seibert has three children and a blue parakeet, which enjoys flying around her family room and landing on her head. She also loves to go to the beach and enjoys reading in her free time.
